Board Games, Creativity & Connection
Cardboard Quest: A PlayWorks Tabletop Adventure

Join PlayWorks, Cardboard Quest, and TableTop Inn for a unique evening designed to help you step out of your routine, meet great people, and experience the power of play.

We'll begin with a fun and interactive game design session led by acclaimed board game designers Grace and Mike. Together you'll discover what makes great games work and collaborate to create your own game concepts in a playful, hands-on environment.
Then we'll open the game library for an evening of board gaming and connection. With hundreds of games available, Grace, Mike, and Josh will be on hand to teach rules, recommend games, and help you jump right in.

Whether you're a lifelong board gamer or haven't played in years, you'll leave with new experiences, new connections, and a fresh appreciation for the creativity hidden inside every game.

No experience required. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to play.

Escape the routine and spend a morning on beautiful Lake Hickory with a PlayWorks Adventure!

Whether you're an experienced paddler or trying it for the first time, this guided experience is about more than just getting on the water. It's an opportunity to slow down, laugh, connect with others, and rediscover the joy of play.

Throughout the morning, you'll have the chance to explore the lake, complete fun PlayWorks challenges, and even switch between kayaks, paddleboards, and the paddle boat so you can experience something new.

Your adventure includes:
  •  Two hours of guided PlayWorks activities
  •  Access to single kayaks, double kayaks, paddleboards, and a paddle boat
  •  Opportunities to try multiple watercraft during the event
  •  A complimentary beer, glass of wine, non-alcoholic beverage, or ice cream from Lake Hickory Pub & Marina
  •  Time to relax and connect after the adventure

After your time on the water, you're invited to stay and enjoy the marina. Grab lunch with new friends, relax on the patio, and make a morning of it.
